Spider

This GIGANTIC, CREEPY, NASTY spider was on MY back porch yesterday. Time to call pest control!
UPDATE: We saw another spider, just like this one, outside our bedroom window. Curtis thinks it's another one because it was smaller. And now, the goose bumps are back!

Oh! I have a friend with one of these on her second story playroom window! But she looked them up (and asked a pest guy for reassurance) and it seems these spiders are not dangerous to humans. I think they're called "Orb Weavers" or something like that....

Cool picture anyway!

We call these banana spiders. I grew up around them on my grandpa's farm and we have them ALL OVER THE PLACE in Iola. They give Ashlee the heebie-jeebies, so I usually take them out with a wiffleball bat.

They are harmless...and GOOD EATIN'!

They are Golden Orb Spiders and are completly harmless, we used to play with them when we were kids (freaked my mom out). Not only that but they are excellent pest control themselves.
