A chilly day

Today we went to the local ice skating rink for their open house. We got there in time for the kids to play a little broom ball (hockey with "brooms", balls, and no skates). After that, we enjoyed watching the Zamboni, some figure skating, and a little hockey shoot out. To top off a fun afternoon, the kids and Curtis were able to do some ice skating.

We had a really fun afternoon! Curtis and I aren't taking for granted the time that we can spend as a family. A month ago, we wouldn't have been able to participate in a fun afternoon like today's was. I'm thankful that we're able to enjoy family days like today.
