Frequently, when driving with the kids, everyone seems to want my attention at the exact same moment. I try to make a point of talking to each child individually, hoping to show them that I care about what each of them are saying, and teaching them patience at the same time.
Yesterday, both Micah and Elizabeth had something urgent to tell me. I listened to Elizabeth first, then turned my attention to Micah. He told me, "Never mind Mommy. You're not home right now. I'll just leave a message."
